Sailsburys accountant services are designed to take customers through the whole business life cycle from start-up, fundraising and grants, bookkeeping, payroll, VAT and tax advice through to major business transactions and everything in between.

They have offices throughout North Wales including St Asaph, Ruthin, Penmaenmawr, Menai Bridge & Beaumaris.

Technology to fit the business

Operating from their offices across Wales, for over 35 years, Salisburys Chartered Accountants offer a wide range of services to support their clients. Aled Roberts, Director, talked about the technology required to manage their daily workflow, “We have a diverse range of documentation across our offices and printing and scanning is an essential part of our activities. Whilst many of our processes are now electronic, for example, authorisations through scanning to open space, many other tasks are still in a transitional phase and we are slowly trying to migrate to digital files. We will always have to print documents as many customers requests this, so it is important that we have reliable printing technology with the functionality we need to meet all the demands of the business.”

Salisburys had experienced issues with support and delivery from their existing print solutions provider, so looked to exit the current contract a year prior to the renewal date. They looked at alternative local companies, with a good reputation, that would be a fit with their philosophy and values.

Sustainability at the core

Salisburys has a net zero vision and are always looking at how they can do more for the community and environment. They recently implemented a number of projects supporting local businesses, helping them to move forward as a greener, more environmentally responsible organisation. These included, electric charging points, LED lighting and solar panels at their head office, with plans for more at other sites. So, it was important that the supplier for their print contract could offer sustainable solutions, that would further reduce their carbon footprint, the next logical step in their environmental vision. Having reviewed a number of companies, Salisburys selected to partner with Greendocs, specialists in sustainable document solutions. Nick Roberts Director spoke about their philosophy, “We take a personal approach with our customers, always understanding their objectives and proposing products and solutions that will be a bespoke fit for their operational requirements. We have a real passion to protect the environment and aim to deliver products and solutions, with an exceptional level of service in a sustainable way. Our relationship with Toshiba enables us to offer a wide range of reliable, eco-friendly printers, photocopiers and MFPs all of which have been carbon offset to the point of delivery.”

Exceptional service

Having audited and reviewed each of the sites, Greendocs were able to propose a rationalisation of Salisburys print estate, suggest suitable Toshiba devices for each location and a provide a significant reduction in costs on the annual contract. Following a smooth and seamless transition the Chartered Accountants were up and running on the new kit. Aled commented on the process, “The Greendocs team managed the whole upgrade process quickly and efficiently and made it as pain free as possible for staff members, we now have compact, reliable Toshiba printers and MFPs, that are quick, easy to use, and have the latest secure scanning functionality for our confidential documentation.”

The new technology gives Salisburys a future-proofed platform to continue on their path towards digitised processes and a reduction in paper usage. Aled concluded on the project, “Greendocs have been so different from suppliers we have dealt with previously, they have been open, honest, kept us informed at every stage in the process and completely taken the stress out of the whole implementation. They took the time to thoroughly understand how the business operates, to reduce costs and make considerable savings on the overall contract. The Toshiba MFPs are exceptional and the service provided by the whole team has been outstanding, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other organisations.”
