Consilia Legal selects agile Toshiba Managed Print Services from Nuvem Solutions to support remote working and paper-less office environment

Consilia Legal are not just your average solicitors. Their talented legal team is made up of some of the very best specialist solicitors in the Yorkshire region. Shortlisted for their legal services and recognised as “recommended individuals” and “next-generation lawyers”, the team is hard to beat when it comes to dynamic, creative and solution-focused solicitors.

They have a formidable reputation for pragmatic and straight-talking advice and are also well known in the region for their competitive and transparent fixed fees and charges. They specialise in Family Law, Employment Law, Family Mediation and Workplace Mediation.

Like-minded partnership

Established in 2014 and with offices across Leeds, Harrogate and London, Consilia Legal had already began to implement a paper-less working philosophy, to be responsive to the needs of their clients.

Laura Clapton, Director, Family Solicitor and Mediator, commented on the rationale, “With the team we have and the growing levels of remote working, it’s something we decided to do in 2018 and has enabled us to be more agile as an organisation.”

As a solicitor’s firm that prides itself on working collaboratively and providing clients with the best quality service, they wanted to find a like-minded company to help deliver their goals. They chose Nuvem Solutions, experts in print and passionate about helping companies implement the most effective solutions for their document processes. Laura continued, “Although our existing print-solution allowed us to reduce our print volumes, we were experiencing all sorts of reliability issues causing extreme frustration and stress across the business, with systems failures, poor quality printed output and delays in receiving new cartridges.”

Reliability for efficient working

Nuvem Solutions recommended a Toshiba Managed Print Service (MPS), which would offer the functionality required by the business, but with the added essential reliability to negate the problems that Consilia Legal had been experiencing.

Daniel Lancaster, Director at Nuvem, commented on the approach, “We always look to understand the key objectives of our customers before implementing an appropriate print solution, often this is about reducing print volumes and ensuring this is done cost-effectively. For Consilia Legal, who have already embraced paper-less working practices, it was about proposing hardware, combined with an MPS, that would be robust and reliable, reduce delays and help the offices run as efficiently as possible.”

Understanding the importance of technology in keeping the document-flow moving for Consilia Legal, Nuvem delivered a smooth and seamless transition to the new MPS.

Laura concluded on the project, “Nuvem really took the time to appreciate the size and scope of our business, and the problems and bottle necks we were experiencing with our existing Multi-Functional Devices. They made the changeover process as simple as possible, guiding us through each stage and pre-empting the next steps. We now have a solution that is resilient and durable, adaptable to our clients’ needs whether it’s printing or scanning, that to be honest we just don’t need to think about, it’s one less worry; with the added re-assurance that our toners will arrive when we need them. Everybody we dealt with at Nuvem and Toshiba has really impressed us and we have been satisfied by both the pre-and post-sales service, we have developed a true partnership that we hope can continue into the future.”
